A great window can underperform, or not meet your expectations if not properly installed. 	Step 1 The existing window's operating components are removed from either the interior or exterior (depending on manufacturer's instructions) by removing trim components attached to the frame.
	Step 2 The new window is inserted into the existing frame, secured with screws, and sealed to the interior and the exterior.
	Step 3 Interior and exterior trim are applied (if necessary) to complete the installation process.
