Wood & Clad Wood
Wood windows are used in homes where traditional details and
designs are preferred. To provide exteriors with greater durability,
manufacturers have applied aluminum cladding, vinyl cladding,
and fiberglass cladding. Interiors are often available with factory
applied priming, or bare for staining. Options available for wood
windows are numerous, and vary by manufacturer.
Wood Window Advantages

Disadvantages
- Higher cost than other frame types
Wood exteriors require frequent maintanence
